Systems Analysis:
Previous research and relevant experience have demonstrated that there are external factors (contextual dimensions) as well as internal factors (organizational dimensions) that affect the ability of firms to achieve their goals and mission. These factors interact with one another, producing effects larger than those of each factor acting independently. These factors, and the interaction among them, create a complex environment under which firms operate. Systems Analysis provides an assessment of the internal and external factors in comparison to the best practices in the field. This assessment will allow executives to focus their efforts on the specific factors that can have the biggest impact on the firms’ ability to accomplish its business goals.
